A return to the Greek theatre in Los Angeles. The third time I have been there with King Crimson.

My admiration for Tony Levin rises daily, as he continues to take fresh and interesting photographs every day, even though he will have visited many of these venues multiple times before (not to mention the fact that his diary continues to appear at least 24 hours before mine).

My photograph from the last appearance at the Greek is in the current program, so for variation I made sure to visit different parts of the venue. The view and sound even at the very back were more than sufficient to invite me into the performance. I went there with the intention of taking a photograph, and found myself staying to listen to several numbers.

We have become used to smaller audiences at these shows, but the Greek was very well attended. And felt very safe – an outdoor venue, with masks compulsory in any indoor spaces.

One more show and then a well-earned break for everyone before resuming at the end of August.
